The role of the watchman is to tell us of what we need to know of the approaching danger. During the time we live in, the presence of many dangers exist. During this election year, we are called to stand united. As Catholics, Christians, and believers, we must stand together on the issue of life, specifically rising in defense of our preborn brothers and sisters. If the life in the womb is not protected and safeguarded, is it really any wonder why life outside of the womb is treated so carelessly? It is the pre-eminent issue of this election.

4th Sunday of Easter - Year A

Deacon Tracy shares how much we are in need of a shepherd like Jesus who is and will always be the Way, the Truth, and the Life. He is the Good Shepherd who reaches out to us, His sheep. He seeks out the strays and leads the lost to Eternal Life. While His voice does not give up on us, it is we who often choose not to hear His voice. Following Jesus also means discerning one's vocation in life.
