6th Sunday in Ordinary Time B

Life with leprosy (more accurately, "skin disease" - Hebrew: tsara'ath) was no picnic. However, the purity laws found in Leviticus offered clarity to the people of God in regards to pursuing a life of holiness. Jesus frees us from the purification laws through what He has done; or else, this is what our life would be like if we were diagnosed with tsara'ath! Sin, however, remains. And in regards to that, we still need to root it out!
