1st Sunday in Advent C

Life is filled with its ups and downs, yet sometimes life can get so much that we end up getting stuck in the lows... so much so that we try to escape from our problems. Jesus in the Gospel today tells us that this is not the answer. His words not only challenge us but makes us aware of who we are and how we are able to overcome the difficulties in life that weigh us down.
