While St. Paul says to "bear your share of hardship for the gospel", he doesn't say that we should do so on our own power or by ourselves. He said it should be done "with the strength that comes from God." One of those strengths come to us through the help of the angels.

Even though we can't prepare for everything, we can have a plan in place and be aware of certain principles to make us prepared for an intruder invading our home. It's how we can keep ourselves and our family safe. The same with the Christian life... except we are preparing for the coming of the King! A mixture of spontaneity and planning is required in living the Christian life. We have to have the openness that comes to listening to the Holy Spirit but also follow Jesus on the right path with what He's already entrusted to us as tools to grow in holiness.

As trust is vital to winning, so is trust vital in our relationship with God. This is a vulnerable-based trust that is rooted in humility and recognizes that none of us have it all figured out. This is why the Church exists, this is why the Mystical Body of Christ exists.

Jesus revealed that God is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Through this divine revelation, we can come to know God better, and in knowing Him better, we know what will lead us to a greater sense of fulfillment. Living in His love is challenging but is purifying our hearts to the depths of how God loves us. It prepares us for Heaven.
