God promised to make the deaf hear, the blind see, the lame dance. Jesus did that in fulfillment of the Old Testament prophecies. But because He wants to bring hope and joy into the world, He has gifted us with the ability to see such miracles firsthand. We must walk in faith, cultivate humility, and always be persistent.

  • 21st Sunday in Ordinary Time B

    August 22nd, 2021  |  20 mins 8 secs

Jesus is the Bread of Life... this Bread is His Flesh and the drink He offers is His Blood. Dissenters from these words of Jesus would make the claim that because Jesus also said that the Spirit is that which gives life and the flesh is of no avail, that Jesus only means to nourish us with His words. He certainly does so, but He also intends to feed us with His very self. Our desire to seek out Jesus in the Holy Eucharist should cause us to make excuses just to see Him who gives Himself to us for eternal life.

  • Solemnity of the Assumption of Mary

    August 15th, 2021  |  18 mins 10 secs

Our Blessed Mother, being full of grace, was assumed body and soul into heavenly glory after her earthly time had ended. Through her unyielding love for God, she did not sin. Sin steals our inheritance and so much more. The Sacrament of Penance provides us with the remedy. Through her intercession, may we strive to be as sinless as she who loved God with all of her heart.

The stories of the Old Testament properly belong to our lineage. The amazing things that happened in their time because of their trust and fidelity in the Lord; we can expect to operate in the same way.

    July 11th, 2021  |  21 mins 9 secs

  • 12th Sunday in Ordinary Time B

    June 22nd, 2021  |  23 mins 26 secs

As life cannot be the same when someone close to us dies, it cannot be the same for us as we remember the death of Jesus. We are called to put on Christ and to live like Him in all things.

  • Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Jesus Christ B

    June 22nd, 2021  |  11 mins 6 secs

Science has proven that the Eucharist (Holy Communion) is the true flesh and blood of Jesus Christ. The Eucharistic miracles of Buenos Aires in 1992, 1994, and 1996 and the scientific tests done on it has revealed that the Eucharist is not a random piece of flesh, but something very purposeful.

  • Pentecost Sunday

The promise from Jesus was fulfilled: the descent of the Holy Spirit came upon those in the Upper Room to fill them, not so much with peace and consolation but with courage and spiritual gifts. The Holy Spirit wants to be active in you as well.

  • Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity B

    May 30th, 2021  |  23 mins 42 secs

The Mystery of the Trinity is central to the Christian faith and life (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 234). The inner life of God reveals how we are to live: love in the context of community. As each divine person of the Holy Trinity has given gifts beyond measure to us, we are called to do the same. In our transition to Family of Parishes this July, our call to love has been expanded to include not just our own parish but all the parishes within our Family.
